The mathematician René Descartes (1596-1650) contends that the human mind is born with the notions such as perfection, space, time and movement.

God does not seem to privilege the mankind, as the individual’s perception to space, milieu, and the movement are concerned. There are three curious principles from the group movement in the natural world:

  1. The movement moving toward your neighbors;

  2. The attempt to get closer to one’s neighbors; and

  3. The avoidance of the collision with your neighbor.

As we reflect on the evolution of human history, we can find numerous great migrations, voluntary or involuntary, legal or illegal. The causes that lie beyond this phenomenon possibly stem from the resources, climate, wars, slavery, racism, politics, economics, and so on. No matter what the cause might be, the great migration can oftentimes bring about massive plunders and conflicts, even the historical hatred that lasts more than thousands of years.

The enormous diversity exists between the humans and the natural world—and this serves as an issue toward which I intend to employ painting as a form to convey my possible imaginations.
